Format: 24 teams, Each team has 1 Singles player, 2 Doubles Players and a Reliever (Sub). Each Team will play 2 other teams in the first Round, then the top 4 advance in each of 2 divisions, then the top 2, then the World Series. It’s gonna be FUN! 2nd Annual Scholarship Tournament!

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Morning Pointe - Pickleball for a Purpose Scholarship Showdown tournament! This tournament is played at Pickleball 706 in Calhoun GA on 8 dedicated indoor pickleball courts.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday (October 25) - Men’s & Women’s Doubles -morning start

Saturday (October 25)- Mixed Doubles - Following Men's & Women's Doubles but not before 1 pm

Competition will begin as early as 8:00am depending on draws. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately 4 days prior to the event.

The registration cost is $45 and includes 1 event. Each additional event is $15. All registered players will be receiving a swag bag & a T-Shirt.

As registration proceeds, tournament management reserves the option to combine brackets, as needed, if brackets do not fill. If brackets are combined to create playable brackets, medals will be awarded based on the combined brackets. Tournament management also reserves the right to convert brackets to double elimination if necessary.

Skill levels include: 3.0; 3.5; 4.0; 4.5+

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2025.

Ratings - DUPR ratings will be used. Tournament Director reserves the right to move a player to a higher/lower level at their discretion.

You may register and identify your partner or request “Need Partner”. Your partner must register within five days of your registration or the team will be moved to the wait list. NOTE - your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until both you and your partner have registered and all fees have been paid in full.

FORMAT

Format:  Each level Starts with round robin pool play to guarantee multiple games. Scoring is to 11, win by 2.  Top 4 - 8 Teams (depending on draw size) advance to a single elimination bracket. Scoring in the Medal Rounds are to 11, win by 2, to crown the champs! A bronze medal match will be played between the losers of the semifinal matches.

Additional Information

• All players must have an active liability waiver on file.

• Events may be consolidated depending on the number of registrants at the host's discretion.

• No-show players may be replaced same day with a qualified partner (i.e., must have proper DUPR rating and be present, and must pay their own fee).

• All paddles must be on the USAP Approved Paddle List; Ball is the Selkirk Pro S1
